Best Wine Experience Award

The Best Wine Experience Award will be presented to the establishment with the highest Beverage related score on the survey. The award recognizes excellence in wine service.

Chef of the Year Award

The Chef of the Year Award recognizes excellence and achievement in the culinary profession throughout the National Capital Region. It recognizes a chef who demonstrates consistently high standards of culinary skills, including innovation of cuisine, techniques and dish applications. It also recognizes use of regional products and the advancement of the profession as a whole through the inspiration or mentorship of others. It is awarded by a select group of judges chosen by The Epicurean Awards. The award is given to the Chef with the highest score with a 50% weighting on the restaurant evaluation and 50% on professional history and professional participation.

The Epicurean Awards may decide to give out other awards, at the discretion of the organizers.
